Bakers (full and part time positions available)
We’re looking for bakers to help us produce our range of bread and buns for our wholesale customers who are some of the best independent restaurants, coffee shops and delis in Birmingham. You will also be producing our doughnuts for markets and events.
Working from our unit in Aston, you will assist our Head Baker in preparing and baking a wide range of items on our menu, which includes sourdough breads, tin loaves, brioche style buns and focaccias, as well as our signature doughnuts and the homemade jam and custard which fills them.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a new and fast-growing artisan bakery which strives for the highest quality in it’s products.
Full time details
You will be passionate about bread, cakes and desserts and producing them to the highest quality. You will have at least one year experience of working in a bakery environment, which includes mixing and shaping loaves and buns. You must be willing to learn and able to work on your own. Level 2 Food Hygiene is preferable, however training will be provided.
If you’ve got ideas and want to experiment whilst learning to master traditional and slow fermentation bread-making techniques, we want to hear from you!
Part time details
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or trainee to develop their skills and experience in an artisan bakery environment and you will have the chance to get fully involved in all aspects of our bakery.
The number of hours will vary each week, but there will be opportunities to take on extra shifts during busy times. As can be expected from a bakery, the role will involve early starts and nights.
If you’ve got a passion for baking and a hunger to learn, we want to hear from you!
Events Assistant (casual / part time)
We’re looking for someone to serve our bread, doughnuts and other baked goods at our markets and events on a casual basis.
You’ll have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and a strong interest in baking and food.
